Take me EAST!

So...I'm back from hibernation. Whew, what a nap.

My Nana and Papa have 5 grandchildren including me. Unfortunately our parents have decided to spread us all out over the United States. We don't get to see each other as much as we would like. However, this summer I got to spend some much-anticipated time with two of my cousins; Laney and Alex and my aunt, Roxanne and uncle, Tim!

Mama, Daddy and I flew east. Airplanes relax me. I do a lot of great sleeping on them. I think Mom and Dad are looking forward to the time when I get my own seat though. I like to stretch out.

Laney and Alex showed me all around their great town of Camp Hill, PA near the capital of Harrisburg. They took me swimming in their zero-entry pool! I could not get myself away from those water sprayers. I loved drinking from them, splashing in them and running through them! I watched Laney and Alex swim in the big pool too. Whoa, they are incredible swimmers. They can blow bubbles and dunk their heads and everything.

We traveled over the river and into the hills and up to a really cool zoo. We saw a zebra right up close! And a brown bear was playing in his tree. We got to pet some amazing animals too including some friendly goats and a wallaby joey! We walked and walked all over the zoo, visiting all the animals. Everywhere we went, we heard this strange sound. It felt like it was following us. Finally we looked up and saw a huge feathery bird on top of a building. Mommy said it was a peacock. I didn't care what it was, it had a scary sound.

Before we left Pennsylvania, we had dinner and a show. Dinner at a restaurant along the river and a show put on by...Laney and Alex! Laney put together the show's set, we all dressed up in costumes and we danced together and watched Laney and Alex be their creative selves and make up a show for us.

Our visit went by so quickly but we packed a lot of fun times in. I miss my cousins and aunt and uncle already. You know, Wisconsin is a lovely place!
